Our early efforts between the 1930s and 1970s focused on the Kingdom’s infrastructure and industrial development, including building schools, highways, providing water and electricity and eradicating diseases such as malaria. Although driven by business requirements and mandates, we have gradually shifted to voluntary citizenship activities.
We are building a world-class supply chain through the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (iktva) program. The program is facilitating the development of a diverse, sustainable, and globally competitive energy sector in the Kingdom while adding resilience and efficiency to our company’s supply chain. Iktva increases our competitiveness, drives industry collaboration, and brings innovation to the Kingdom through research and development.
Iktva’s proven success has become the cornerstone for the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority localization model, which will accelerate the maturity of the Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem across all sectors. This model has attracted more than 450 supply chain investments. From Jazan Economic City to the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), iktva has created an ecosystem of integrated value chains to enable sustainable business success in Saudi Arabia.
