Society
Our early efforts in Society-focused support initiatives, between the 1930s and 1970s, were centered on Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure and industrial development, including building schools and highways, providing water and electricity, and working to eradicate diseases such as malaria.
Today, we are building a world-class supply chain through the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (iktva) program. The program is facilitating the development of a diverse and globally-competitive energy sector in the Kingdom, while adding resilience and efficiency to our Company’s supply chain. Iktva increases our competitiveness, drives industry collaboration, and brings innovation to the Kingdom through research and development.
Iktva’s success has become the cornerstone for the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority localization model, which will accelerate the maturity of the Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem across all sectors. This model has already attracted several hundred supply chain investment. From Jazan Economic City to the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), iktva has created an ecosystem of integrated value chains to enable business success in Saudi Arabia.
