Marine Services

The Marine Department is a vital part of Saudi Aramco’s Industrial Services Organization. The department has a reliable fleet of vessels to provide an assortment of Marine Services in order to support the exploration, production and transportation of oil, in and around Saudi Aramco’s offshore concession areas.

The marine fleet operates from a number of ports in the Kingdom and operates 24 hours, 365 days per year.

1. Marine Chartered Vessels

Marine Chartered Vessel includes companies which can provide chartered offshore vessels, barges, spread, crew, and consultation services to support Saudi Aramco operations in the Eastern region (Arabian Sea) and Western region (Red Sea).  The offshore support vessels range from crew boat, tug boat, pilot boat, line boat, accommodation barge/vessel, security boat, AHTSS, work/utility, jackup-barge, supply vessels, general cargo to commissary vessel.

2. Ship Management Services

Provide full Ship Management Services, including but not limited to manning, crew management, catering, technical management, ship agency services, vessel refit, maintenance, review vessel design and supervision of new build, arrange all material procurement, equipment, spare parts and consumables for the vessel.

3. Diving Support Services

Diving Support Services (DSS) companies ensure pipelines and other subsea infrastructure are safe and up to standard operating conditions through performing inspections, maintenance and carrying out emergency repair services supporting Saudi Aramco’s hundreds of kilometers of subsea infrastructure and offshore structures, including tanker loading facilities, piers, and harbors. These companies are capable of providing specialized DSS, complete with Diving Support Vessels (DSVs), equipment and personnel, and shore-based diving teams and equipment to carry out DSS scope.

The work scope includes, but is not limited to, catering services, operation of dining facilities, snack bars, coffee stations, hospitality and event management.
