Sustainability

People and safety

Supporting our people and our communities.

At Aramco, we make every effort to be a responsible business. As stakeholder expectations evolve, we too seek to meet new and emerging challenges that present themselves.

From actively supporting female education, training and work life balance through policies, on-site daycare and mentors; delivering mental health and well-being initiatives to our employees including support for females in leadership; or driving changes in traffic safety across the Kingdom, we aim to be a positive agent of change, respected by our stakeholders for the work we have done to date and our plans for the future.

Being a responsible business starts with a healthy, safe, and engaged workforce, providing employees with meaningful and fulfilling roles. We also engage with our contractors, joint-ventures, partners and third-party suppliers about our values and standards and, we are working hard to embed our values and working standards throughout our supply chain.

Our responsible business commitments:

  • The health and safety of our workforce, suppliers and communities is our number one priority
  • We are committed to growing diversity, equity, and greater inclusion in our workforce
  • We are working with our suppliers to drive responsible operations and a sustainable supply chain
  • We respect human rights and the rights of our communities wherever we operate
  • We are increasing the transparency of our operations and performance through greater engagement and disclosure
